Our organization is unorganized with low member numbers, and most of all, we have an out-of-date website that does not function for our members. We need direction in terms of strategic research, visual direction planning, defining ongoing board role management, and executing next steps. We would love to commit to working on our rebranding, website design, and marketing with your team moving forward.
Before jumping into a rebrand for KCMMT, we created a strategic plan for their approach to brand voice and marketing. Moving from their label as a private group to an inclusive community center meant that their brand image also needed to match their accessibility and creative inclusivity for those they were aiming to connect with. We defined their audience as "Community Caregivers", which gave way to creating a brand that fulfilled these values, while also representing creative insight and purpose. Their story is what sold the concept of being more than just another organization, as joining a community based around educational and meaningful values created an intimate, but incredible valuable part of their own story and journey.
KCMMT's vision for their brand was creative, unique, and modern to represent their love of everyday elements in nature and music. We took this and ran with it, infusing unique elements to their visuals to match their musical style. That being said, we also infused those assets into their website design, which provided the opportunity to showcase their new membership platform, their (now increased) pricing, and created the call-to-action for joining their community very transparent. Their biggest barrier up until then had been on attracting new members, so it was vital that we make sure that was orderly, while also inspiring and exciting to those who were looking to join them to be a part of their career growth. Another aspect was designing for mobile responsiveness, as most of their advocates were visiting their website from their phones on-the-go. Once we adjusted for that and launched, they have since increased their website traffic tenfold and gained many new members, while also increasing their outreach at the same time.
Just working with Studio Humankind introduced KCMMT board to a healthier and more efficient way of communication, that was extremely helpful and needed. My organization had many hurdles and barriers to work through, and they stayed with us for the journey, comforting us that it was going to all work out and be ok. And they were right.
